While we all do enjoy the laughter and joy a costume character can bring, we must remember that they are people too. Respect must be shown at all times towards the performer and the performer must give the same respect back.
The performer may terminate the appearance at any time they feel it is an unsafe environment for them to continue performing. Such situations include:
- Being left unsupervised with a group of children. The performer is not a sitter.
- Any person(s) hitting the performer maliciously with intent to harm.
- Any form of unlawful behavior, hate speech, bullying, inappropriate contact, rude gestures, will never be tolerated.
- If any person is scared of the performer, DO NOT force interaction. It's not funny and can cause a lifelong fear and/or trauma This is considered bullying and will not be tolerated.
Any of the above instances is grounds for immediate termination of the appearance without any kind of refund.
Pay and compensation
- The person that is paying for the appearance is responsible for all payments.
- All payments must be satisfied no later than 2 hours prior to the appearance unless previously discussed
- In the case of the aforementioned scenario, payment must be satisfied prior to the start of the appearance.
- If additional payment is required, ex: upgrade of order size, the original booking person must authorize the additional time and satisfy the payment. If additional time is requested during the appearance, the original booking person must agree to the additional time and satisfy the additional payment immediately.
- If multiple forms of payment are to be used that is acceptable but the payment must still require the authorization of the original booking person.
Summary
Please be responsible when booking. We are looking to have as much of a good time as you are. Let's treat each other like good human beings.
The last thing we want is for someone that isn't paying for the event to say it's okay to stay for another 30 minutes and now you're stuck with the bill. That's not happening here. They're not paying for it so they have no say. Tell Uncle Ronnie to sit down.
